Reasons to join

By becoming a member of Pre-Legal, you will be joining an active and growing organization. There is plenty of room for involvement and there are many benefits to membership.

  1. A guest speaker from the legal professional community at each meeting is an excellent way to find out what options exist in the pre-law career path.


  2. Having relaxed membership requirements means that everyone is welcomed. Membership should be fun, not difficult. We understand that everyone has different academic and social commitments, but the more you put into PLHS, the more you will get out of it.


  3. Various community service projects will give you a chance to give something back to our community, while developing a sense of volunteerism and philanthropy that the legal profession needs.


  4. Many socials throughout the year, invite our pre-law members to get to know other pre-law members and discuss their experiences being a pre-law student at the University of Florida and hopefully make friends along the way!


  5. There are major LSAT preparation course discounts, plus the chance to win a free LSAT prep course for being the most active member.
    The membership fee is only $35 for your first semester and returning inactive members. After that it is only $20 each semester for returning active members.

  7. With our numerous chair positions assuming a leadership role is easy and it is a great way to get involved.
